Winter Fest at Brookfield Place

Winter Fest at Brookfield Place

While our own Brookfield Winter Lights festival has come to a close for 2018, the City of Perth are continuing on the winter theme throughout July with Winter Fest and, with so many of our award-winning venues taking part in the celebrations, Brookfield Place is still the place to eat, drink and be seen all Winter long. Here’s our pick of some of our favourite winter warmers available in the precinct this month:

Winter Sounds

Every Wednesday in July, the Brookfield Place Café Court will be hosting free live musical performances by some of WA’s most talented local musicians as part of the Winter Sounds program. Welcoming the likes of Littlehawk whose debut album Chinchilla is receiving loads of love across the radio waves; Aminah Hughes, Lydia Schubert and Dawn Barrington, turn those humpday blues around in your lunch break with the smooth musical stylings on offer in our Café Court as part of Winter Sounds.

Churchill Bar & Restaurant

Churchill Bar and Restaurant is creating a winter wonderland this July. Utilising the largest projectors on the terrace they’ll have virtual falling snow and crackling fires and be serving up a selection of hearty dishes, icy cocktails and warming winter treats as part of their après ski vibe. Pop in, make yourself comfortable and prepare to make Churchill's your home away from home this winter. Book now by calling 0422 927 932.

The Heritage Wine Bar

Due to its incredible success at Truffle Kerfuffle, the team at Heritage Wine Bar have decided to showcase their decadent cob loaf special as part of Winter Festival. Served with a carafe of Vasse Felix White or Red, their famous cob is a beautifully made pretzel bun filled with Cambray Farm Cheeses (petit fromage and brie), Bannister Downs Cream and ridiculously indulgent Pottinger Truffle – and all for the doubly delicious price of only $30.00.

Gazette Fridays

Friday nights are set to sizzle at Perth’s hottest modern Italian Osteria and bar, Gazette. Settle in for a meal or aperitivo at the bar with an inspiring menu selection including house-cured bresaola, ndjua stuffed peppers or salumi selection with house pickles.  Or for something more substantial opt for a handcrafted pizza or pasta. Sip on a robust Barbaresco, a light and fresh Chianti or a classic Negroni then, warm up and slide into the weekend when live entertainment kicks in at dusk.
