“Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful” – Norman Vincent Peale

Monday, 12 November 2012 - Following the words of Normal Vincent Peale, Brookfield Place Perth is set to wave a magic wand over the CBD, with three unique Christmas wonders. Only days after the City of Perth unveils their Christmas lights for 2012, Brookfield Place will come alive on Sunday, 18 November with an abstract Christmas Tree and a lobby dressed in sparkling silver and white decorations.

As Santa’s elves work tirelessly in the lead up to the big day, so will the team at The Electric Canvas. Brookfield Place will light the way to Santa’s sleigh from Thursday, 6 December right through to Christmas Day. With lighting projections across all of the beautiful heritage buildings Brookfield Place, Saint Georges Terrace will host a stunning Christmas light show for the entire family.

The Electric Canvas is a multi-award winning projection company, based in Sydney and internationally recognised in the specialised field of large-scale and architectural projection. The Electric Canvas has overseen the projection components for an impressive array of public ceremonies including Sydney Olympics, Singapore National Day, East Asian Games Macau, Commonwealth Games Manchester and Melbourne, Asian Games Doha, Gulf Cup Abu Dhabi, Winter Olympics Vancouver, Rugby World Cup Sydney and Auckland, and the South East Asian Games in Palembang.

The historic buildings along Perth's St Georges Terrace, provide a rare ensemble of heritage facades, upon which The Electric Canvas will vend their decorative magic and bring the architecture to life to celebrate Christmas on the Terrace.

Christmas, the holiday that keeps on giving, will continue to be celebrated through the entire month of December, as the outdoor stage at Brookfield Place comes to life with live music and Christmas Carols with a twist, each Friday evening from 7 December.

Sitting at the heart of the Perth CBD, Brookfield Place heralds a new era of business and culture in the city. Brookfield Place is located at 123 – 137 St Georges Terrace, Perth.
