Brookfield Property Partners L. P. ("Brookfield") has today celebrated the topping out of Brookfield Place Tower 2, the second commercial tower at the Brookfield Place precinct in Perth's central business district, with a ceremony attended by dignitaries including the City's Lord Mayor, Lisa Scaffidi.
Brookfield Place Tower 2 is a premium-grade 16-level office tower with 34,000 sqm (366,000 square feet) of net lettable area scheduled for completion at the end of 2015. The building has attracted blue chip tenants including Deloitte and Corrs Chambers Westgarth.

Brookfield Place has established itself as Perth's premier commercial address and the second building in the precinct will reinforce that position. The construction program is on schedule and we look forward to welcoming tenants into the building at the end of next year."
The Brookfield Place Tower 2 project incorporates a sheltered upper-level walkway across Mounts Bay Road to provide greater connectivity between the Perth Bus Port, Esplanade Train Station and Perth's city centre.

Tower 2 is the final piece of that vision and, when it is complete in the fourth quarter next year, it will provide best-in-class office space as well as greater linkages between transport infrastructure and the main thoroughfare of the CBD in St Georges Terrace," said Mr Wilkinson.
Brookfield Place Tower 2 is being developed by Brookfield Property Partners and constructed by affiliate Brookfield Multiplex, which will also take up office space in the building.
Brookfield Place Perth has established itself as the pre-eminent commercial precinct in Australia since Tower 1 opened in September 2012 with premium office space, sophisticated restaurants, retail space as well as arts and cultural events for the public.
