From 31 October to 11 December, the City of Perth will host the world’s biggest public art event, Cow Parade Perth 2016!
The City is the venue for the largest public art program in the world where 40 life-sized cow sculptures come to life through creations by some of Western Australia’s most exciting artists and creatives.
The cows will be exhibited for six weeks from 31 October in malls, parks, iconic buildings and precincts, with some auctioned at the 2016 Lexus Ball for Telethon, raising money to support child health research.
The cow in Brookfield Place has been decorated in very fine detail by the gorgeous Elizabeth Marruffo. The top of the cow has been scattered with pictures drawn by the children at Princess Margaret Hospital in response to their interpretation of the Taurus constellation. We are over the moon with our pretty, blue cow.
